The London Crypt

We had just found the Crypt: an old church, near Picadilly Circus, where the basement (ie. the Crypt - complete with ancient tombstones) has been converted into a funky cafe. We had apple crumble and bread pudding with clotted cream. Our arteries hardened just looking at it but it was lovely.

Then, upstairs in the chapel, we happened upon a group of musicians rehearsing for a concert later that evening. So we sat for a spell, digesting the beautiful sounds and our pudding. What an amazing leaded glass window.
