The Natural History Museum
We made our way slowly to the museum the morning after the storm.
The museum is beautiful inside and out.
This year marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth. There is a new (and amazing) exhibit about his life's work. Photos of the exhibit itself were strictly verboten.
I could sit in this foyer all day long.
All of the stone in the foyer is carved into various flora and fauna and form huge arcs across the width of the museum. The panelling in the ceiling are hand painted botanical drawings.
This is the lovely dinosaur that greets everyone as they enter.

Your photos are gorgeous! I am jealous!!!
Amazing architecture and you captured it so well.
David, I just love your pictures. You are quite the photographer. Shirley's right - you'll have to frame some of them.
